Albion Sports Football Club was founded in 1974 and initially played in the Bradford Amateur Sunday League.

Albion Sports won a further five league titles, two County Cups, three District Cups and seven Senior Cups. Other highlights included reaching the final of the National F.A Umbro Sunday Cup on two occasions. The first in 2000 at the City Ground (Nottingham Forest) Albion Sports were beaten 1 -0 by Prestige Brighams (Hull).
