Albion Sports in cup KO
Wednesday 1st February 2012
Albion Sports' first run-out this year ended in a 5-2 defeat at Grimsby Borough.
The result saw Albion exit the Wilkinson Sword Trophy at the semi-final stage.
Having not played since Boxing Day, there was some ring rust about Albion but goals from Asif Hussain and Alex Cusack were pluses while the sending off of Aron Heywood just into the second half, with the score at 3-2, had a big say in the result.
